From October 14th to 19th, 2024, the ROLEPL-AI project hosted a series of mid-term events in Denmark, France, and Germany as part of the Erasmus Days 2024 celebrations. These events provided an opportunity to showcase the project’s progress in developing AI-based educational tools and gather feedback from a broad audience of stakeholders, including trainees, educators, professionals, and the general public.
The events were organized by ROLEPL-AI project partners and aligned closely with the project’s objectives of integrating AI into education through simulation-based learning environments. Each event focused on presenting the first version of the simulation tool within a virtual environment and capturing insights to guide its ongoing refinement.

Key Events and Highlights
VUC Storstrøm’s Kulturnat in Denmark
The Kulturnat event held at VUC Storstrøm in Næstved was scheduled ahead of the Danish autumn break to maximize participation. Attendees, including teachers, educational enthusiasts, and local citizens, explored the potential applications of the ROLEPL-AI tools in education. The event also provided opportunities to strengthen local networks and raise awareness of the project.
Manzalab’s Interactive Test Session in the north of France
Manzalab’s event introduced ROLEPL-AI’s tools to tourism students at ECOSUP Tourisme. The structured activities, which included hands-on demonstrations and discussions, allowed participants to provide feedback on the tools’ usability and relevance. This feedback is expected to contribute to the refinement of the tool and its application in professional education contexts.
FHD’s Training Demonstrations in Germany
Fachhochschule Dresden (FHD) focused on practical testing of ROLEPL-AI tools during its event. Participants provided constructive feedback, suggesting longer testing periods and better separation of test groups for future experiments. These insights will inform the next stages of the project’s development and experimentation processes.
Inceptive’s Inaugural Event in the south of France
Inceptive successfully hosted its first ROLEPL-AI event, achieving its target audience engagement and receiving useful feedback for improvement. The event allowed the team to identify areas for fine-tuning, both in terms of event organization and the tools themselves, setting a strong foundation for future activities.
A Collaborative Effort with Insights
The Erasmus Days 2024 events highlighted the ROLEPL-AI project’s progress while fostering engagement and collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Feedback gathered during these events will play a key role in shaping upcoming experimentation pilots, refining pedagogical content, and enhancing dissemination strategies.
